Got up early this morning and we were going to leave at 6 AM. Small problem, I had to go swimming and disconnect the Painter (The line that attaches the dinghy to Adventure) from Adventure. Somehow the painter had gotten tangled in the rudder. It wasn’t to bad but it slowed us down.
We traveled the farthest in one day so far. We went from Presque Isle, MI to Tawas, MI a trip of 77 Nautical Miles. We traveled for 12 hours non stop. I know 77 miles doesn’t seem like a lot to most of you but at 6 knot per our it’s a long way.
Sunrise as we were leaving Presque Isle.
Tammy at the helm. You can see the Dinghy in the back round.
After my swim we needed to dry the towels.
Two of the light houses from Presque Isle to Tawas, MI
Have a good day and I will try to post again tomorrow.
